Those who wander aren’t always lost; some make themselves home wherever they are.
“The best gifts come in small packages”, except that the best gifts can not be packaged.
When seeking revenge call it justice cause “The best revenge is a life well lived”, but sadly that’s the last you’ll ever hear about it.
“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.” This is true, and sometimes you are their battle that you know nothing about.
“It is better to give than to take” therefore most wars start peacefully. Be wary of those who speak of peace yet carry a sword; time doesn’t reveal character, circumstance does. Don’t trust someone more than you have to.
No one has ever died by the blade of kindness but rather, quite often, from gifting it. “Killing with kindness” will only result in the death of yourself; respect it as the vulnerable weakness that it is.
“What’s good for the goose is good for the gander” is true if it was actually good for the goose. Often it wasn’t and the gander will too find itself cooked. “Hindsight’s 20/20” but not till you bleed out. People who hurt you will rarely change, they only change the way they hurt you.
Life isn’t fair, Karma’s not a bitch and he who laughs last suffers most. Bad people hurt good people and good people don’t hurt people.
So count your blessings believing the best is yet to come. Move forward choosing happiness to live, laugh and love. Turn your cheek, stay upbeat but know that history repeats, the same rules apply to war as is in love.
