Hey folks, just wanted to float an idea I’ve been thinking about. It’s basically Uber CarShare but for boats, a simple way for owners to rent out their under-used boats or jet skis and make back some of the crazy ownership and maintenance costs. Most vessels sit around doing nothing for most of the year, so I’m wondering if a peer-to-peer model could actually work in this space. Not building anything yet, just trying to get a sense of whether the concept even makes sense in the real world.
