I launched my tool at the end of 2025 and got my first user that same day. This wasn’t coincidence and it didn’t come easy. So don’t expect it to be easy because if you learn anything about entrepreneurship it’s that you have to put in the work.
I am currently a CTO at a marketing agency and launching products/tools is my line of work. I have learned plenty while doing this and want to share some of that. If you want to see tool I’m referencing, here (https://threadsignals.com)
1.) start with the problem. Never create a tool that seems like a good idea. Create a tool that solves a problem you encounter or, even better, others encounter daily.
2.) validate first, build second. Similar to number one, but always spend the first few months validating. Time is money, and you don’t want to waste it building something no one wants.
3.) Perfection is pointless. Don’t obsess over the fine details. If it works, make it live. If it’s ugly, but it works, make it live. If it’s pretty and sorta works, don’t bother.
4.) MVP. MVP. MVP!! Always build your mvp as quick as possible. Don’t add a million features. Let your user base decide your features.
5.) lastly, build a way for early supporters to join the movement. Simple landing page. Simple form. Simple lead capture. Keep in touch throughout development. Once live, offer them special deal for showing early support.
Hope that helps some of you starting a project!
