So I’m thinking about specializing in selling installations of indoor-outdoor pet transition spaces.
Ideally I’d have customer meet for free home consultation where I inspect their space and pet needs, have them pick from a range of options, then schedule and complete builds.
There are automatic pet window gates that open with RFID collars for sale on Amazon starting around 800 or simple magnetic manual ones ranging from 10 to 75ish
Pair that with a window height enclosed brand new outdoors catio type enclosure for around 300 to 500 add a nice doorknob lockset and beef up key structure and add misc security for ehh 100ish
Add a weatherproof SS litter box that resides in the outdoor gated portion 40 bucks
new litter for 25
and possibly a weekly litter changing service for labor/travel plus materials markup.
Would need to account for the underneath enclosure floor, possibly poured concrete pad or using gravel/paving stones. 150ish?
All in all a job that could be done fairly quickly and doesn’t require massive equipment investments other than power hand tools and ladders and time and means of litter disposal.
The administrative side could be straightforward making sure we’re scheduling work and following up, completing jobs, securing necessary permits etc.
Think it could stand on its own?
