I have always loved shawarmas. Although I am not a middle eastern but always find them my #1 meal choice. I moved to a mid sized city in eastern Canada, where population is around 2-3 lacs. There are no dedicated shawarma shops here other than couple of pizza joints selling chicken shawarma wrap. I have been thinking to open a shawarma shop with my cousin. There is a big university and one college here, downtown is also famous for bars concentration. So I need suggestions what things I should look for? For the context, I don’t have a culinary background, I love making and trying different foods. I have tried shawarma at home in an oven and it was average. Can I get advice, tips, suggestion I should look for before entering in this venture. Thanks y’all
