​Let’s normalize wearing Star Trek uniforms as everyday attire.

We’re a diverse society. I think we can make it work. People wear all sorts of things. People wear what is traditionally cross-gender clothing. Amish and Mennonites dress like it’s 1800. Muslim women wear hijabs. Sikhs wear turbans. Some monks and nuns rock the robes full time. A whole host of people wear ethnically traditional clothing. Our society contains multitudes.

We’re living in the future. We got robots on Mars. We have AIs calling your grandma trying to steal her credit card number. Billionaires are building rocketships and self-flying cars are being tested as taxis. All our food is genetically modified, and we’re ditching fossil fuels for nuclear reactors and solar panels built upon quantum-mechanical principles. We are living in the god-damn future. And it is time we start dressing like it.

I would also accept normalizing retro-futuristic metallic robes as an acceptable alternative.
