My graduate program team is working on some potential startup ideas and would love to hear any feedback!
Real estate online service which will handle end-to-end homebuying process, simplify home selling & buying experience, save money to both parties, and fully cut out the middle man (real estate brokers/agents). The goal would be to allow for a better alternative than current For Sale By Owner options and to avoid paying unnecessary and unknown fees to people without their best interests at heart.
Medication reconciliation using ML to help reduce prescription errors, do predictive analytics for drug interactions, and integrate data from wearable devices to look for side effects. There would be integrations with their primary care and specialists and a big focus on data protection and security.
Speech therapy app for kids using AI-powered facial recognition to analyze mouth movements in real-time, voice output assessments, personalized support, AI chatbot, progress tracking and gamifying reward. The goal would be to increase accessibility and flexibility for individual needs and integrate with current medical gameplan.
App + wearable device to help people quit stress responses/body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs) OR a similar device for reactive/nervous dogs. The wearable would use haptic movements to interrupt behaviors, learns from past behavior frequency and timing of occurrences, and be integrated with reminders and daily encouragement. There would also allow a connection with license therapists and integrate with current treatment plans. Would be a similar concept for dogs and be an anti-shock collar of sorts.
