I want to start a side hustle

I manage the operations of a farm and right now it’s the low season, there’s planning to do but it’s pretty chill. The company is not profitable yet so I can’t ask for a raise and my income is just ok. I want to find a side hustle that’s low maintenance but that can still generate a bit of income. I work in the flowers and plant industry (wholesale + markets ) and I’m thinking it could b smart to start something in the same niche but I don’t know what. I have proposed in the past to grow cut flowers but my partner he didn’t seem very excited about the idea. It is something that I think could work though ..we do markets together in the summer so I wanted to sell the cut flowers there. Now I’m just wondering if I should do my own thing with cut flowers but I don’t have the land and I’m afraid to ask again since he brushed me off twice already so I’m kinda stuck and trying to think of something else. It’s his business and took me as a partner for the markets so I take care of hiring employees and managing sales while also managing the operations and make sure everything runs smoothly. There’s a lot of possibility in this industry even starting a landscaping company ( which I don’t have experience with but I have the contacts with wholesalers so wondering how I can b of value here) Or even importing plants from Florida which we do already to sell to our clients but maybe there’s an entire market to be tapped into that I don’t know about? Or maybe just getting into import export since I know how it works …. Or just start something in a completely different industry but where my skills can be applied. As you see there are a lot of options lol. Your feedback is welcome and ideas are appreciated!
