vines

In tangled vines, our fates entwined, A love that bloomed, a love confined.

Your thorns dig deep, my breath grows weak, But still I hold, for fear to speak.

We sway together, storm and shine, Two souls adrift, a mirrored sign.

Your darkness calls, I quench your plight, But lose myself in endless night.

The world fades dim, a blurry haze, Lost in your storms, in lonely ways.

Is this a love, or just a snare? Trapped in your grip, a suffocating prayer.

I yearn to bloom, to reach the light, But fear untangling, losing sight.

Can love survive, if one won’t fly? To break the chains, and learn to try.
