​Thinking About a Simple Finance Tool for Small Businesses

I’m thinking about building a simple “Digital CFO” tool for small business owners who don’t always have the time or really the skills to keep track of their finances properly. The idea is basically a lightweight dashboard that shows revenue, expenses, profit and cashflow in a clear way, plus maybe a small AI assistant that points out weird spending spikes or gives simple suggestions like where costs are going up or where margins could be a bit better. Nothing super complex or corporate-feeling, just something that helps people understand their numbers without needing a real CFO or digging through spreadsheets all day. I’m not totally sure yet if this would actually be helpful or if I’m kind of overthinking the whole thing, so I’d be curious what others think about it.
