How’s it going, you ok?

I don’t know what else to say.

I know this last year has been pretty rough,

The stuff you’ve dealt with has been fucking tough.

But look at where you are right now,

A year ago that didn’t seem possible, wow.

You stood up tall, you stood up proud,

You took yourself far from the madding crowd.

You took that time to think and be still,

You took that time to learn how to heal.

You have days where the sun doesn’t shine,

You have days where the words won’t rhyme.

You’ve had days when you’ve hopped out of bed,

And had a real smile on your face instead.

You should be proud of how far you’ve come,

It’s only a year, this life isn’t done.
