A SaaS that Generates Private Social Networks with Shopify Features

This idea is a bit wild so hear me out

I built a white-label service that generates a private social network as the main feature (similar to facebook) so that brands with an audience eg podcasters, influencers, content creators, and anyone with a following, can gather users into a single mobile platform (iOS and Android) to upsell them using the shopify feature.

They can upsell digital products, courses, events, physical goods, services, and anything sellable.

It also has a third feature similar to kajabi for content delivery. If a user buys a digital course they can consume it right in the app.

When it comes to branding, the app has a unique customization feature that allows admins to restyle the app to their colors and branding. Notice the 3 screenshots above are of 3 different brands. Now granted the designs are similar but that’s only because I duplicated the themes but in reality they can look vastly different. This alone is an incredible powerful feature. Mobile apps are known to be expensive to update UI, rebuild then resubmit to the 2 app stores. My app skips all of that. The admin can make a change now and in 5 minutes all users receives the updated theme and languages.

Yes, the app’s UI can also be rebanded to any language. Admins only need to add a language then update the text for a UI component Eg “create post” in English becomes “crear publicación” in spanish. All instantly, and users get it in a few minutes

This white-label’s concept is simple, we have one code base to maintain that generates multiple client apps. All clients manage their own UI themes which means I don’t have to spend time and resources doing UI/UX coding.

The white-label app earns for initial builds and on monthly recurring bills for resources used. It targets long term clients for a steady future cash flow. We can add earn options for :

Number of themes Number of languages AI features (moderation, upselling, etc) Live video and audio features

This is the page I send potential clients. There is an explain video to explain in more depth the vision, the features and how it works. You can also see the earning potential with the prices >> https://redcupsystems.com/social-network

I am looking for 2 to 3 co-founders who can handle the marketing, sales, cfo, ceo things. I prefer to stay in the background.

As you can see I’ve already done the heavy lifting. I am looking for equal partners that can come in equally. DM me if you’re interest.

ANSWERS FOR THE MODS

How much preparation have you done already?
The app is already in MVP, it is ready to accept clients. Clients only need to supply their Logo for the app icons and the White-Label Social Network App can be generated

You will need to back this up with wireframe documentation. Detail what the type of every field (is it a label) is. Text/Numeric/Alphanumeric input? Is a button greyed out until data is entered?
Since the mvp is done, I already have sketches of the data flow in figma so we can see how data enters, changes and exists. It doesn’t have a specific UI because client’s design their UI’s style and color using the built in customizer. Whether a button is greyed out or not until text is entered can be set by the customizer. The Client has a lot of control. The customer is very powerful.

Is there a backend? In other words, would the app work just fine in aeroplane mode or does it require connectivity? Think Facebook vs a Tetris app.
The app uses Supabase as the postgreSQL database. Since it is a social network (similar to facebook) it does require connectivity. If a user enters data, the data is cached then waits for connectivity to send it to the database

Are you going to organise the backend (getting the server set up (Database, web server)? Who’s writing the code for the API?
Since the app is already in MVP then API’s have already been written by me, all DB triggers and SQL functions have already be coded into the database instance. This app does not use a web server

Does your app need to pull data from any other sources other than your server?
The app does not pull data other from the database because it emphasizes data indepedence. If a client wants to be out of the hand of BIG tech, they can move their database from Supabase to their own private server or one in their region or anywhere else

Who is organising the graphics?
The client handles their graphics. As for the app’s graphics, there is minimum, we coded what we want the UX (user experience) to be then the client chooses how they want the graphics to appear

Who is designing the UI (User Interface)?
We built the core plain UX/UI then the client handles the designing of the UI, this is the sweetest of part of this white-label app. UI is very expensive to develop and maintain, but since we offloaded it to the client, we get to keep all the capital and resources we would have spent doing UI coding. It’s like a fast food resturant’s self service, where the buyer (the client) after pruchasing has to get their own soda, ketchup, etc.
