After running a SaaS for a year, I’m exploring new online business models. What actually works for small teams today?

I spent the past year building and running a small SaaS.

It never reached the traction I was aiming for, so instead of forcing it any further, I’ve decided to pivot.

Now I’m trying to understand which online business models are actually generating real revenue for small teams without requiring much upfront capital.

I’m NOT looking for:

dropshipping generic “AI wrappers” passive income meme ideas

I’m looking for models that are:

fully online realistic for a 1~3 person team low initial capital capable of consistent, meaningful profit grounded in solving a real problem. not hype or trends

For founders/operators here:
What online business models have you seen succeed recently?

And which ones completely failed?

Would appreciate any honest insights or real examples.

Thanks.
