Chair-A-Tea

Teashop that doubles as a thrift/antique/consignment store. Find a town with a growing population that’s down on it’s luck with a nice old downtown and open a tea shop and thrift store in one. I’m thinking something like a fully furnished coffee shop where all the furniture/books/everything is donated. The profit is entirely generated from the sale of the coffee/tea/food everything sold is sold at whatever the person can afford as long as it keeps the lights on. Kids can take books for free or whatever. Make it a nice convenient place for people moving into town to come meet new people and pick some furniture up as well as a nice place for people leaving town to come stop for a cup of coffee that’s free with a donation over $10. Maybe I could write the chamber of commerce in the city for permission to use the building for free under the condition that I take just enough profit to live and donate the rest to the community? Basically a used book store you aren’t relying on book sales as the only source of revenue and not just paying rent on a building to store used furniture. Come in have a cup of tea leave with a nice recliner? Have a wall with a huge pile of dvds you can just pop in and sit and watch and take one home if you want? Maybe have a “watch now for 2.50 take home for $5” option on movies. Imagine walking into a coffee shop and there’s a giant tv in the corner with a bunch of old videogames/movies/books etc and you can just entertain yourself for hours for pennies. Maybe I can piece together old computers to keep out of the landfill and setup a sort of communal recycling center or something as well. Am i too naive?
