Hi! I’ve been getting stuck with of the stories I’m writing. It’s a romance novel. I want to change the city name and one of the main characters name because I don’t want it to affect anything since some events in the story have happened in real life. The city name is Kent, OH. Hipster, 70s vibe, quaint, nicknamed the Tree City, honorary mascot is the black squirrel, close to the cuyahoga valley national park and fall is super pretty there. Time and place will be during the fall in the 2010s. Then the main character is based on someone that was a big part of my life and his name is Kyle. I normally don’t ask for help when it comes to this but I’m truly stumped. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
