Smokers don’t really care about low birth weights or lung cancer 30 years down the road. You wanna make smokers stop and think about not smoking when picking up a pack of Pall Malls? You gotta socially bully them with the packaging!
Some ideas of pictures and taglines I’ve come up with for cigarette packaging:
-Have a picture of an ugly girl with stink lines coming off of her with a heading saying “Smokers smell like shit.”
-Picture of a downtrodden 40 year old leaning against the exterior wall of a Dollar General having a smoke. “You can’t get a good job cause you’re a lazy fuck that takes too many smoke breaks.”
-Beautiful woman packing her bags and leaving her husband. “Tired of listening to you cough up your lungs every morning. It’s fucking gross.”
-Managers talking behind a smokers back at work “We should fire Rick then we can get these health care premiums down for the whole company.”
-A Dad talking to his kid with crooked teeth “We’d get you braces but Mom would rather blow money on cigs than your wellbeing.”
-A tinder exchange screenshot where one person asks the other person if they smoke. A reply comes in “yes”, followed by the smoker being unmatched.
