I used tailor brands to register my business and I immediately regretted it. It’s been more than 2 weeks and I have yet to receive any information regarding the status of my filing, and they have over 400 dollars from me (realizing now… why did I pay them 99 dollars for an EIN I could file for free) I’ve read some threads about this, but wondering if anyone had a similar experience and got their money back? Or what did you do?
To those who have had success with using tailor brands or a similar website, how long did it take the process to fully go through?
My state is LA. The turnaround times are 3-5 business days for expedited filing and 7-20 for regular filing. I was thinking I had paid for expedited filing through Tailor brands – I’m thinking, I only paid for TB’s expedited filing, not the actual state’s. I tried to get them to cancel my EIN purchase since the LLC hasn’t officially been formed yet and their (awful, btw) customer service told me that was “above her paygrade” and I’d hear from her manager ONLY if it was possible.
