​Found on a taxi line at an airport. Very heavy metal gear looking object with strange teeth. Appears to be sheared off of something that can exert immense amounts of force.

Appears to be sheared off of something that can exert immense amounts of force. Could be from aircraft (very much hope not) or from a piece of GSE. If it is a gear it has a somewhat helical structure but I cannot identify the teeth or why they would look like that. The broken piece is about 2.5 in long and it’s about 1 in thick.
