My Brother and me want to start a Business by identfying Apple trees. My Brother is a M. Sc in Ecology and has one of the biggest datasets for Apple trees. You get a leave of the tree you want to identify and with some service from a lab you can get the genoms and simple compare it with the dataset. Its more reliable than normal identification by Eye.
My Part would be on the Business side of things: Invoices, Communication etc.
One identification would cost around 50€.
We Network in Events, made a website and ran some Tests in our local area. Most of the people we know dont know what Kind of Apple grows in their backyard.
Anybody thinks this is worth pursuing ?
