​Here’s a thought, instead of being lenient on police who comit crimes, make the punishment double than the citizens.

So, cops have been getting away with all kinds of crimes. They get away with it for so long that they forget to be cautious, but when caught they get little to nothing even if the punishment would be severe for a average person. I believe that since they swore a serious oath to protect and serve to the communities and the people people in them then violating that vow, especially when taking the lives of unarmed men of color, then it should be much worse than average citizen. I mean, if I can’t trust the people I’m supposed to when I’m in trouble what then?
