​How can I make money with skills involving writing?

I’m currently a college student working a part-time job that I just can’t seem to enjoy. I hate the fact I have to listen to someone else, the pessimistic attitude that all of my coworkers cling on to, and I just wanted to test the waters and see what’s out there for me to pursue. Originally, I had a small business where I would write stories for a certain type of genre, but the demand was too low, and I overall just never pursued it because I was gaining little to nothing. I enjoy working out, reading, learning self-improvement and how to become financially free, and I would like to understand how I could put these certain hobbies to work for me, in a way to where I can actually enjoy my work, while making profit all in all.
