Is networking the only real way to start a business?

Many founders credit their early success to networking such a s meeting co-founders at hackathons, finding mentors through campus incubators or getting investor access via connections…but can someone without strong networks and who’s introverted by nature still build something meaningful from scratch and manage to sell it? Is it possible to rely purely on skill, execution and online communities rather than personal connections? How much of early success in entrepreneurship really comes down to who you know versus what you build?
