​Make cars with edible and drinkable parts

One of advantages of a horse compared with a car is that you can eat the horse (or drink its blood if you’re thirsty) in a pinch. So, I propose car manufacturers somehow make some car parts safe and nutricious for eating or drinking by humans

P.S. Just in case I wasn’t clear enough, this is supposed to be used for extreme situations only, like when people get stuck for days in the middle of nowhere

P.P.S. A careful and disciplined person would have prepared cans with food before going somewhere distant. But this proposal is for sake of less thoughtful people

P.P.P.S. One of commenters said “You’re late to the game. Lots of cars use soy based insulation on the wiring. Squirrels and rodents love the stuff. Why not you too?”
