It is a metal needle with a spring wrapped around it. The whole thing is about 2 inches long. The needle is finer than a sewing needle and is flexible- it also doesn’t seem to be hollow like a stringe.. I found it when cleaning the carpets of my car, which I bought from an elderly couple… What could it be?
