Hi guys, I’m looking for some advice on how I should approach a business opportunity. I’m a freelance marketer and I’ve got a very close link to a client who’s doing 200k in profit per year with little to no marketing at all on a Niche Construction product that essentially helps labourers make more money because it increases there output.
They currently sell wholesale to retailers and do a small bit of online B2C but I feel they have the opportunity to scale this massively with marketing. Note – they have a separate company who I believe drop ships their product.
There old and don’t really understand marketing + don’t want the hassle so they’re not willing to spend a massive budget for marketing, however, I’m willing to take a risk on doing all the marketing for free in exchange for a profit share of what I generate. (I’ve done this with content creators and had decent success with ad revenue but want to switch to creating content that generates physical sales)
My questions are,
How do I approach them with this offer?
How do I track the amount of sales I generate?
