​Orange grabber thing? Two rubber pads and two hinge points, hand grip and a hanging hole, maybe?

I’m clearly my MIL’s favorite, so I often get strange “gifts” but she outdid herself this year. We can’t figure out what this could possibly be used for. It was wrapped individually, is lightweight plastic.
