​Plants don’t eat us simply because we are faster than them

Everyone thinks plants are your friends. Most of humanity loves them because we share a symbiotic relationship with them (carbon dioxide to oxygen). We keep them in our homes. Care for them.

But if a plant moved faster than a human, you’d wake up it’s one digging its roots into your leg. Plants grow out of corpses all the time. They use detritus (dead organic material) as a source of nutrition.

We are just lucky they grow so slow.
