Just thinking about all the people who appear worlds away from their actual living situation on Instagram. Embarassing.

Edit: Some people are conflating the two ideas in the thought I had. I never said beng poor was pathetic. Only the people who pretend to be rich when they are actually poor.

For example, I could say “Pretending to be stupid is more annoying than actually being stupid.” That doesn’t mean I think being stupid is annoying. Its a seperate instance.
