In thine eyes’ briny deep, my haven lies, Thy murmurs’ surge, a clarion to submerge, With every glance, into thy depths I plunge, In love’s profound abyss, my spirit flies.
Thy fondling waves, they drag me to the brine, A maelstrom of ardor, fierce and blind, Thy call, a nereid’s chant, my will resigned, In love’s vast ocean, I willingly decline.
Each breath usurped, as if by siren’s spell, I’m panting for the quintessence of thee, Thy touch, a deluge, dims my reason’s swell, In this sea, amour’s the sole decree I see.
Thy pulse, my anchor, in its rhythm, I’m wound, In passion’s depths, sweet capitulation found, Within thine embrace, I’m adrift, in love, I’m drowned, A sonnet of the deep, where hearts are crowned.
Let me descend into thy soul’s profound, Where love’s enigmas linger and confound, For in this submersion, true bliss is found, In love’s unfathomed, our fates are interwound.

I was hoping to make a short collection of romantic-ish poems. I can’t share the first page because I recently entered it in a contest and I don’t want it being on the Internet to ruin my chances, but how’s something like this as an inclusion? Is it good enough?
