Small, plastic, red ball in ceiling. There is also a plug coming through the ceiling elsewhere near an outlet. May or may not be related. Hopefully someone recognizes it.

This plastic red ball with a collar is coming through the ceiling in the corner of my bedroom. It’s about a half inch in diameter. Any thoughts?
