Hi – for context I am UK based (north).
I currently work in a well paid 9-5 job but for the past year I’ve been thinking of starting out on my own.
My idea was to use my next bonus to invest in an industrial grade jet washer and advertise wheelie bin cleans and then maybe driveways etc.
My partner thinks it’s a ridiculous idea and “beneath” me. I’ve tried to explain even if I earn less it’s having freedom over my own time and future that counts to me.
What are your thoughts? Terrible idea and I should go back to the drawing board, or is this something that could be genuinely lucrative?
