I greatly enjoy the usage of commonly violent concepts to potray romance. By far my favorite is cannibalism as a metaphor for a consuming, obsessive kind of love – both in romantic and toxic contexts.
I want to explore more of these types of metaphors. Does anyone have examples or ideas for others.
