OK So I apologize for using this subreddit, but I saw a post from a few months ago about starting a wisconsin llc and it got good responses from you all which clearly came from experience. Technically this IS still a business idea!
I am a wisconsin carpenter. I have my own jobs and they arent small anymore so I need to have my llc set up immediately.
Basically. I was just about to submit my llc on the wisconsin dfi website, when I did a quick search about using a registered agent. I was going to just use my home address but after some diving on Google/reddit i saw a few comments on reddit about what a bad idea that is.
i am a little less concerned about privacy and more concerned about recieving scam calls, and having my mailbox be literally full every day. again if its just some extra junk mail I I am a single dad full time with a toddler so I have to take into account his safety and security as well.
I want the full scope of what to expect if I use my home address. How full will my mailbox be of junk every day. Please share your experiences with this. What are the other cons.
if you think I should use a service. which do you recommend?
what was your experience like using your home address or using a registered agent? I would love to avoid pay extra money for a service if I can get away without it
