30 hours

I picked it up at my local Kroger which is weird because l’d actually gone in there to get some batteries. The cashier looked at me strangely like she’d seen me before, maybe in a dream or a courtroom. I’m fairly sure the onion got scanned twice but only charged once which feels like a technicality. When I got home my wifi cut out. I tried to ignore it but at some point the room smelled faintly of printer ink and sunscreen and the onion had somehow repositioned itself. I did consider peeling it but I caught my reflection in the microwave and I looked taller and felt an eerie feeling. So I just left it as maybe the onion didn’t feel safe.

I looked to my left and noticed the paint on the wall peeling like a boiled egg shell and felt like maybe that’s why it smells like sunscreen because the sun hates the less melanated folk and I should probably get proactive about protection against UV rays but then I thought maybe we’ll all blow up in a explosion of some kind and I should just live my life.

My cat started chirping at the man in the ceiling and he told me to go to bed but I don’t submit men so I’ve been awake for almost 30 hours straight out of spite.
