The sun rises differently
The morning starts with sounds of my playlist
Songs of our past getting replaced with songs of a new beat
Routine becoming something of ease
Work distracts from racing thoughts
While the check fulfills my needs
Night is colder when I’m alone
But the sunset is a sight to behold
