​A gap that could be filled

I have a very simple business idea, yet in a country that does not offer this solution at all.

Hear me out. I am European, technically with no experience in this particular field. I recently ran into an issue – I needed this service, in this exact country. My in laws live there.

To my surprise, this service could not be fulfilled and after asking people from there, they aren’t aware of how to run such business in the country. (It is possible, very possible, but there’s no knowledge about it – however, everywhere else its common sense and the market is OVERLY saturated)

So I asked, if it did exist, would they use it? The answer was positive.

I have three problems:

1) Funds. It would need around 20-30k initial investment and family, friends, banks, loans are not an option. 2) The situation there can be unsafe at times so I could not live there, only visit. How do I find a trustworthy person to run it for me? 3) Due to security, my business would not be protected and could be lost at any time. Meaning, investors would also not be interested.

I don’t want to mention the exact business model, but let’s imagine that we all love tacos, but we don’t have any Mexican restaurants near. We love tacos so much, we create something similar with different ingredients, but it’s not the same. Then someone comes and opens a Taco place with authentic taste and ingredients. Wouldn’t we choose the authentic place over the not so authentic one?
