A “not turning/definitely going straight” indicator. To let other drivers know you have not forgotten to indicate a turn, you are in fact going straight

Scenario 1: You are queueing at an intersection in a lane that can either turn left or go straight. The person in front of you is not indicating, so you probably won’t get stuck behind them waiting to turn, correct? Probably, but it’s impossible to know for sure. Unless they had a “going straight” indicator, then you would know for sure

Scenario 2: You are waiting to enter a roundabout. Another car enters from the opposite side with no indicator. Is it safe for you to enter? Probably, but best wait to see if they are turning and forgot to indicate, just in case. However, if they entered the roundabout already indicating “going straight” there would be no ambiguity

What does the “going straight” indicator look like?

I’m thinking green in colour, one on the middle of the front bumper, one on the middle of the rear bumper.

It can’t be red, orange/yellow or blue, because then it could be confused with a brake light, normal indicator or police siren respectively.

Green could also be confused with a green traffic light, perhaps, however it would be at a different height and flashing so maybe that is different enough.

I imagine it is not something that would be used very often, but something that would be very useful in certain situations
