​After giving AI about 50 attempts to write a story based on one I had already completed, I found nothing worthwhile, just boring results.

It was my first novel. While it’s very wild, imaginative, and at times gut-wrenching, I still feel it falls short because of the pacing. It could be good if I started working on second, third, or even fourth drafts. I have all this content but no clue what to do with it. I have a second draft that comprises 15,000 words, and another 34,000-word manuscript that has been sitting untouched for two months.

Anyway, the point is, I heard AI can help with everything, even polishing the text. But I found that to be misleading. It just went through and deleted all my emotional and meaningful content, making it boring as hell. At first, I was impressed with how it looked as it was generated—I thought, “Wow, this looks good.” But when I read it aloud, I realized, “Oh my God, this is flat and lifeless.” I believe there’s a certain light in writing, which may sound strange, but it struck me how vibrant it can be. It’s like all feeling and colors. If I’m going for dark. I want to see and feel the darkness. Everything has a color.
