Hi everyone, I’m curious to hear your thoughts on this idea for the Christmas season.
The concept is simple: I’d visit homes with beautiful Christmas decorations, take a photo of the house with my DSLR, and instantly print it onto a Christmas card template. Then, I’d knock on the door and offer the homeowner a chance to buy a set of 10 cards. The inside message would say, “Merry Christmas from our house to yours.”
Do you think this is something people would be interested in? I often see stunningly decorated homes during the holidays, and I think this could be a more personalized way for people to share their festive spirit with loved ones.
I believe showing them the printed card right away would increase the likelihood of a sale, since they can see the effort and get a visual of the final product. The idea would be to upsell them on larger packs—10, 20, or even 30 cards.
I am from the UK, and I understand I won’t make a fortune from it but I think it would be enjoyable to do.
