​Concrete box in the back of a shallow cave near the ramains of an old farmhouse in Eastern Ontario

My first thought was a cold celler but it seems too small. (would hold a 6 pack of beer, though). I included the steps and carpet to maybe help date things. Not pictured was a blue-plastic wrapped wire clothes line, one end still buried deep in a tree that had grown around the hook.
