Chapter 8: Draken?
I stepped forward. Snow was falling. Not in small amounts either. It was a blizzard. The hole left by my partner’s ability was nearly a 10 foot circle. It really was terrifying. I picked up the glowing orbs left after. There were ten of them. ten people who refused to ally themselves with me. Those ten regret their choice I’m sure.
The glowing disaster behind me laid a hand on my shoulder, “what do you think then Draken?”
“that was impressive… how did you say you preferred these orbs again?”
She floated past me, “steak is nice.”
“But thats expensive…”
“Then just steal it. It’s not like anyone will stop you, they’re all frozen in time.”
“… I guess.” I looked up, “your name, it’s Lilith correct.”
“That’s right. Lilith, the first disaster.”
“And your first partner was… Adam.”
“The first Victor.” She chuckled.
“Fascinating.” I smiled, “would you say I’m anything like this Adam?”
“Appearance wise your nearly identical Draken, but personality…”
I tossed her the ten orbs.
She caught them, “You couldn’t be more different.”
“Good to know.”
