​DIY with ability to phone an expert app

I’ve attempted to do many things DIY myself and at times ended up giving up on the YouTube or other tutorials and ended up calling an expert.

For example, a plumbing issue I could not understand why it wasn’t working. It was fairly simple and I was on the right track but because I had to end up having a plumber come out so I had to dish out $120 for them to come out and take about 5 minutes to correct what I wasn’t doing right.

I guess my idea would be being able to video call an expert and paying a small fee for them to be able to provide assistance. I’ve had to do this with my job in programming as well so I think it could have multiple functions. The expert gets a description of the issue to see if they are at that level to assist and a video call begins. Then the expert is rated based on how helpful they were and also is paid the fee. I think it’s a good way for some to make extra money without leaving their home. I guess I’m just wanting everyone’s opinion to see if this would be a worthwhile endeavor or to help me see flaws within the idea.
