​Grey box with disconnected wire touching faucet line

Grey box with loose line up against water line. Looks to be about the size of my hand, with cord hanging down looking to have an audio or power jack plug. There’s nothing above on the sink that it seemingly connects to. I’ve a suspicion there’s an electrical wire/connection loose somewhere as it feels like I get a small buzz/shock when I turn the water on. No one else at my office has mentioned this happening to them, leading me to think it’s something everyone else is used to since I’m new or its just my nerves being weird (have nerve issues in my arms).
