Hi everyone. I’ve been thinking about starting a transport business for a while, and I think I’ve spotted a gap in the market for group travel. The problem I see is that organizing trips for 20–50 people is surprisingly hard. Families, friend groups, and corporate teams either end up coordinating multiple cars, paying too much for small shuttles, or dealing with last-minute cancellations and chaos. It always feels like a headache and a waste of time. My idea is a flexible, bookable 50 seater bus service. Customers could use it for weekend trips, corporate outings, or large family excursions. The platform would handle bookings, scheduling, and payments. The bus would be fully loaded and comfortable, so groups travel together, save money, and don’t stress over logistics. I’ve been exploring Alibaba for buses and spare parts, it seems doable if I can figure out maintenance, licensing, and day-to-day operations efficiently. I genuinely think this could work because it solves a real pain point, but I’m cautious. Would a service like this actually get traction? Is a 50 seater too ambitious for a first venture, or realistic if planned carefully? I’d really appreciate any thoughts on pricing, operations, marketing, or anything else I might be overlooking.
