Hi everyone, I have been tinkering with the idea of creating an AI chatbot for folks to add to their websites (I know, I know… extremely creative on my part.). I wanted to check for feedback from businesses who have hired this type of service in the past and see if you saw value in it.
There are a few reasons I’m looking to build it:
* Worldwide client reach
* Low cost to start since I can code the product
* There is momentum given the AI hype
* In my regular job, AI was implemented at the home page and it solves around 40% of customer inquiries.
On that last point, I work at a large tech company where I believe there is too much information to sif though before you can find your answer in their website. Most companies would be a lot smaller, so I am not sure if this would be a good opportunity for those cases too.
I have coded a chatbot that can be added to people’s websites, but I still need to improve the frontend and make the model trainable for each different use-case. I am not working with anyone else, and been able to do everything by myself so far, even though I’m a junior level developer.
I appreciate any/all feedback you can give around this.
