​Metal, silver, munitions-like object with threaded ends, removable tip. 5.5 inches, 69 grams

I found this in my front yard on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Thought it was a shell at first, but discovered the tip unscrews, and the bottom is threaded such the tip can be screwed into the bottom.
