Lately I’ve been noticing something kind of annoying with events.
People sign up, seem interested, sometimes even say they’ll be there and then just don’t show up. At first I assumed it was just bad targeting or weak content or whatever, but I’m not even sure that’s the case anymore.
Feels more like people just forget.
I’ve done it myself too. Signed up for something, fully planned to join, then later realized I completely missed it. Not because I didn’t care, just didn’t have it in front of me at the right time.
So now I keep thinking about that part specifically. Not how to get people to sign up, but what happens after they sign up.
There’s this weird gap where nothing really sticks, and if someone doesn’t do something with the info right away, it’s gone.
Been wondering if there’s something simple there worth building around or if this is just one of those things everyone deals with and accepts.
Not really sure yet, just something I keep coming back to.
