I’m planning on starting an off road rental company by renting off road prepared cars, I mean things like roof top tents, big tires, rugged and reliable 4×4’s. Tourists usually go and rent small SUV that won’t go through a lot of places and roads and miss visiting most of the nice places, so I think having a nice off roader would be nice. I’m planning on starting with cars that are a bit older, cars like the Suzuki Samurai or a 2nd gen 4runner. Then upgrade the fleet with time.
What costs should I consider apart from car maintenance and insurance? How should I build my website and online presence? Any other tip I can receive from someone who already has a renting company?
