​Pass a law that outlaws private defense attorneys. All defense attorneys are now public defenders and are randomly assigned to the defendant according to type of case. Case numbers are tossed in a Bingo style roller, and the next up attorney gets whenever number-ball falls out.

No longer will rich people get a different tier of justice. A rich guy and a poor guy both get accused of murder, they both get a rando defense attorney.

Defense attorneys would still be able to have specialties and they are put in pools that correspond with each crime. Murder, property crime, etc.
