​Selling note books. Waste of time?

I’ve been itching to start something. I want to start small to gain some experience and learn about business. My product is notebooks; with people in STEM as a target group.

Anyone has experience in selling notebooks that can give advice?

Generic questions Am I wasting my time? Should I move on to something else since the market of stationery is so saturated or maybe because we live in a digital age?

I have a business plan, budget plan and things such as logistic and storage covered. It’s just taking the risk that’s holding me Back
